Noravank Monastery

Noravank Monastery, Armenia – 2016. The Noravank Monastery is located near the top of a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River. It was founded in 1205 by Bishop Hovhannes and the complex includes the church of Saint Karapet, Saint Grigory the Illuminator church and the church of Saint Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God).
